Atlantic School of Theology ~ Halifax, Nova Scotia

In September, 2018, we posted copies of emails that were written to Neale Bennet, the President of the Atlantic School of Theology. They are posted below the existing article published earlier.

~

As we started our journey of repentance in November, 1984 and our eyes were gradually opened to the deceptions of this world, it became our hope that all of mankind would be saved and come unto the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4).

As we started to reach out to the people of this world it became apparent, that we were not fighting against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12).

We also came to the knowledge that the spirit of this world (Satan) had transformed himself into an angel of light through the religions of this world (2 Cor. 11:13-15) and that it was the number one stronghold through which all the nations were being deceived.

We came to know that not only were we called to preach the Word of God according to the Spirit of truth (John 14:17) but that we were also called for the pulling down of the world's strongholds. Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God (2 Cor. 10:4,5).

Other strongholds besides religion are the political authorities and the Media Industry. Newspapers and other Media Organizations allow their reporters and personalities to use their positions to spread their own personal ideologies and views, especially on the subject of Religion and Politics, and our local media was no different.

Steve Murphy is the Senior News Editor for Bell Media, CTV/ATV and we first made contact with him on October 4, 1991 but even after we were promised to meet with him during an Open-House event and were asked to contact him, our messages were never returned. We also positioned a copy of our book 'A World Deceived' with him but receipt was never acknowledged.

Recently we communicated with him on different issues, i.e. the Inquisition, the Exposure of more Vatican Scandals, Balanced Reporting, the History of Christmas, Easter, Halloween, etc. and made an official request for an interview. The following is an excerpt of our email of October 24, 2015.

"Please accept this as a formal request for an unedited interview on the CTV/ATV Evening News on the Deteriorating Infrastructure in HRM, the Local and Provincial Economy, Political Corruption, the Imploding Health-Care System, the Decline of Rural Nova Scotia, Declining Church Attendance and Church Closures, the Sexual Abuse Scandals, the Decline in Moral Standards and Values, School Closures, the Decline of the Education System, the Provincial Debt, the Role of the Media, and any other social issue you wish to discuss."

We also started to include Andy LeBlanc with our communication. He is the Director of News and Public Affairs for the company and we delivered a copy of the book 'A World Deceived' to him on October 30, 2015.

During our search of the different interviews Steve Murphy had conducted and review the CTV's Policy on 'Unbalanced Reporting' on social issues, we viewed an interview he had conducted a few years ago with David Deane, who calls himself a Doctor in Systematic and Historical Theology at the Atlantic School of Theology. We also learned that he was working on a book entitled "Roman Catholic Apologetics", meaning a book in defence of Roman Catholic doctrines.

Considering that our book had been positioned  with Steve Murphy and included an article on the history of Christmas, his interview with David Deane on the subject was a compilation of false and misleading information with no spiritual significance, guidance or content.

For those not familiar with the Atlantic School of Theology. AST is a Canadian ecumenical university which provides "graduate level theological education and research, and in formation for Christian ministries, lay and ordained, in church and society, primarily in Atlantic Canada". Its current enrollment is 170 students.

The current Dean is Jody Clarke and the current president is Neale Bennet.

The School was founded in 1971 and formally incorporated on June 28, 1974, by an Act of the Legislature of Nova Scotia. Atlantic School of Theology is accredited by the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada.

AST was formed in 1971 through a merger of the following institutions:

  • Faculty of Theology, University of King's College (Anglican Church of Canada)
  • Holy Heart Seminary (Roman Catholic Church)
  • Pine Hill Divinity Hall (United Church of Canada)

Theological Education has been delivered in the property in Halifax since 1878. AST occupies the former campus of Pine Hill Divinity Hall situated along the Northwest Arm on Franklin Street.

The school received its provincial charter to grant degrees in 1974 from the government of Nova Scotia. In 2002, AST and nearby Saint Mary's University signed an agreement whereby the two institutions "will explore joint projects and economies.

It is interesting to note that the Atlantic School of Theology blocked our email address a few years ago. The Chronicle Herald (our local paper) had blocked our email address around the same time, after we notified their reporters about our latest article 'Papal Infallibility, Contradictions and Spiritual Blindness' that was added to our website.

We were still able to use our personal email address to communicate a number of messages to the Faculty and Staff of AST, including their newly appointed President Neale S. Bennet. However, it was only after several messages that they blocked our personal email address as well, and for fear of including Saint Mary's University with our messages, they also convinced SMU to do the same.

Since we had David Dean's personal email address on file from a few years back, we were able to send him daily messages for a two week period, as confirmation what manner of Spirit he is of (Luke 9:55) and the spirit he serves (John 8:34). Most of our messages just communicated the Word of God, and it would have looked rather strange for him to have blocked the very Word of God.

We also copied Andy LeBlanc and Steve Murphy from Bell Media/CTV/ATV, along with Ian Thompson, former Associate Publisher for The Chronicle Herald and their Senior Writer John DeMont.

The following is a copy of our two week communication in chronological order, and is further confirmation that there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known (Matthew 10:26).

David,

Our message from yesterday may have had you shaking your head, but please remember that the Word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than a two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart (Hebrews 4:12).

There is no need to be offended; blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me (Matthew 11:6).

Seek, and ye shall find (Matthew 7:7).

We look forward to answer any questions you may have.

1 John 5:4-6

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.
We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

Seek, and ye shall find (Matthew 7:7).

Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God (James 4:4; 1 John 2:15).

The word adulterers and adulteresses refers to those joined to a harlot (false religion).

The following is an excerpt from the article "The Mystery Babylon" listed on our website www.aworlddeceived.ca

In Conclusion

The true church of believers (saints) is in Scripture referred to as a woman, a virgin woman, as a symbol of holiness and purity.

It is, as Scripture records, without spot (Eph 5:27; 2 Peter 3:14). Its offspring is referred to as the daughter of Zion and many other names.

The head of the false church is referred to as the Mystery Babylon or the mother of harlots (Catholic church), and any offspring is referred to as a harlot (other religions).

Any relationship with a harlot (false church) is called spiritual adultery, while the worshipping of idols and false images is often referred to as spiritual fornication.

Scripture teaches us the following in 2 Cor 6:17: "Wherefore come out from among them, and touch not the unclean thing: and I will receive you."

Also, in Revelation 18:4 it says: "Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues."

In order to receive a better understanding of the Mystery Babylon, mother of harlots, spiritual adultery and fornication, please read Revelation, chapters 17 and 18.

Spiritual Fornication (worshipping of idols): Numbers 25:1-5; 1 Cor 5:9-10, 6:9; 10:7-8

Spiritual Adultery (joined to a harlot or a false church): Jer 3:1-9; 13:27; Eze 16:15-26; Hosea 2-5; 3:3; 4:14-15; 1 Cor 6:13-16 and Rev 2:22.

For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.

For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

We hope you had an opportunity to read the article in The Chronicle Herald on page A16 "Vatican scandal heats up" yesterday, and then ask yourself the question; why the AST, The Chronicle Herald, SMU and the CBU blocked all of our emails (John 3:19; Matthew 10:26).

The emails above are confirmation what manner of Spirit you are of (Luke 9:55) and the spirit you serve (John 8:34).

For this reason our message remains the same: Ye must repent and turn from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan (whose spirit you are of) unto God (Acts 26:18). Without the Baptism of Repentance (Matthew 3:8; Mark 1:4; Luke 3:3) you will remain spiritually blind and separated from God (1 Cor. 10:21). The Word of God will also forever remain a mystery to you, which was kept secret since the world began (Romans 16:25).

We were going to suggest that AST arrange for an information session for the sake of the people of Nova Scotia, but we know that this is not going to happen. For this reason we will leave you to your own devices (2 Cor. 2:11), as you continue to follow after the elements and rudiments of this world (Gal. 4:9) that will lead to your own destruction (Matthew 7:13; Romans 3:16,17; Phil. 3:19; 1 Thess. 5:3; 2 Peter 2:1; 3:16).

He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad (Matthew 12:30).

Since our emails continue to be blocked by AST, a hard copy of this email and a complimentary copy of the book "A World Deceived" will be hand-delivered to Neale S. Bennet, who was appointed President of AST effective July 1, 2015. This email will also be listed as part of a new article "Atlantic School of Theology - Halifax, Nova Scotia" and will be installed on our website in the near future. The article will explain the deliberate and orchestrated effort by AST, SMU (Saint Mary"s University), CBU (Cape Breton University), The Chronicle Herald and other news organizations to silence our voice. A new article "Vatican Scandal Heats Up" has also been posted on our website this week.

Subject: Another Manifestation

Steve,

Further to your interview of December 23, 2013 with David Deane, Associate Professor, we posted the article Atlantic School of Theology – Halifax, Nova Scotia just six months ago on our website www.aworlddeceived.ca

The purpose was to show the people of Atlantic Canada how you deceive the people of Atlantic Canada through your bias interviews that are full of false and misleading statements.

As another manifestation it did come as no surprise that it has now been decided that the Atlantic School of Theology will now be turned into an end-of-life care centre, and how appropriate that it will facilitate the dying from hereon in. We did attempt to inform you earlier that the Institution was not providing life-giving doctrines.

Considering this latest development, will you now finally be willing to arrange for a meeting for the purpose of allowing us to explain the Mystery of God and how you deceive all the people of Atlantic Canada through your many reports and interviews.

For your information the AST and SMU still have our emails blocked. Perhaps David Deane will have enough courage and arrange to have them unblocked. It has been clear to us for many years that God has chosen yourself and Bell Media to confound the media industry and the role they have played as the voice of this world and the influence they have had on public opinion and social issues.

The following is an excerpt of the article Influence of the Media.

“Subject: Media Control and Public Opinion

"Public opinion is dangerous because most public opinion is the view of the media. If the media do not like something, their bias taints information getting to the public, and this forms public opinion. Public opinion is never based on research and facts. The public uses the media for its sole source of information."

Since the reports by CTV last evening about the celebrations of the transgender bill introduced by Parliament yesterday, it was confirmation of the further moral decay of Canada and the countries of this world. A City or Country without a moral code based on the precepts and statutes of God is a dying City and Country.

We invite you to read the entry Fort McMurray Wildfires and Wildfires and Floods listed on the Current Events page of our website. As always, we welcome your questions.

Neale,

Please find below a copy of an email that provides a little piece of the puzzle how you and your associates have been deceived.

Considering the times we live in and that God is revealing everything that has been covered (Matthew 10:26), we invite you and your associates to a meeting during which time I will explain The Mystery of God and allow them to direct any questions about the times we live and how Religious Doctrines are all in vain (Matthew 15:9). Our testimony will show that they follow after an image of a false god and a false Christ (Matthew 24:24; 2 Cor. 11:13-15; Rev. 12:9).

May we suggest you forward a copy of this email to your associates and anyone else that may be interested and see what kind of feedback you get. We look forward to your reply.

Subject: The Word of God Explained

We preach Repentance in the hope that your eyes may be opened. It is the same message that was preached by Christ, the apostles and all those that have gone before us (Matthew 3:2; 4:17; Mark 1:15; 6:12; Luke 13:3,5: 16:30; Acts 2:38; 3:19; 8:22; 17:30; 26:20). The word ‘repent’ means a lot more than what by nature you have been conditioned to believe - http://www.aworlddeceived.ca/articles/repent

It is the key principle of all of the teachings of Jesus Christ and the axiom (basis) of the Word of God and a prerequisite and primary requirement for the salvation of mankind. Please observe the Header of every page of our website as it depicts the Mystery of God.

Through the Baptism of Repentance God gave all those that believe on his name the power (right or privilege) to become the sons of God, which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God (John 1:12,13).

To repent means to turn from darkness (your natural spirit) to light, and from the power of Satan unto God (Acts 26:18). Without the Baptism of Repentance (Matthew 3:8; Mark 1:4; Luke 3:3) you will remain spiritually blind and separated from God and the Word of God will forever remain a mystery to you, which was kept secret since the world began (Matthew 13:35; Mark 4:11; Romans 16:25; 1 Cor. 2:7; Eph. 3:3-9; Col. 1:26; Rev. 10:7).

In your natural state you are separated from God and unable to understand the Word of God as it is spiritually discerned (1 Cor. 2:14). As such we would like to explain the following verses.

Matthew 9:10-13

In verse 12 (bolded) ‘They that be whole’ is referred to as the ‘believers’, while the ‘physician’ (healer) is referred to as Christ. They that are sick are ‘the unbelievers’.

The first prerequisite towards salvation and repentance (changing of spirits, transformation, conversion) is the ability to acknowledge that you are a sinner and separated from God, which in your case is almost impossible as the devil (your natural spirit) has you convinced that Satan is a god, as he has transformed himself into an apostle of Christ (2 Cor. 11:13-15) and deceived all of you (Rev. 12:9).

If you are unable to acknowledge the above your sins will remain and you will continue to be blinded by through your self-righteousness and the spirit of this world.

Since we reside in your community we would be pleased to spiritually discern other parts of The Mystery of God and answer any questions you may have. We invite you therefore to meet with us in the hope that you will come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4), that the vail/veil of spiritual blindness will be removed, which was done away with in Christ (2 Cor. 3:14-16).

We look forward to hearing from you.

Subject: Panel Dicussion - The Word and The Mystery of God Explained

Neale Bennet, was appointed the President of the Atlantic School of Theology (AST) effective July 1, 2015. It is located in Halifax, NS.

Historically, schools of theology, seminaries, divinity schools, etc. were institutions for educating students (sometimes called seminarians) in scripture, theology, generally to prepare them for ordination as clergy, academia, or ministry. I myself attended the largest seminary in Apeldoorn, Holland. I entered the seminary at the age of twelve , where at that time 700 other young man between the ages of 12 and 20 studied for the priesthood. It is interesting to note that in the early nineties the seminary and all its buildings and grounds had been turned into a National Police Academy and the Church had been turned into a Conference Hall.

As members of the Roman Catholic Institution we were involved as Lay readers, Extra Ordinary Ministers, the Choir, Marriage Preparation Course, the Cursillo Movement and Days of Enrichment. Although, we were very much involved it was not till the age of 38 that God manifested and revealed Himself to me and our family, and when our eyes were opened we learned that we had been deceived by the principalities and the powers and rulers of darkness of this world for all those years (Ephesians 6:12).

We have been on the journey of Repentance ever since (Matthew 3:2; 4:17; Mark 1:15; 6:12; Luke 13:3,5: 16:30; John 1:12,13; Acts 2:38; 3:19; 8:22; 17:30; 26:20). You can read more about our conversion in the book ‘A World Deceived’. Since the days that God took us out of bondage it has been our holy duty to reach out to others and assist them in their time of Conversion and Transformation (Matthew 13:8,23).

Neale,

We are sorry we never received a reply to our latest email (see copy below)l. Since we never received a reply to any of our communication in the past we would like to propose now  a ‘Panel Discussion’ to allow your associates and members of the Media and the Community to learn about The Word and The Mystery of God according to the Spirit of truth (John 14:17).

On the AST website its Mission is listed as follows: “The Atlantic School of Theology serves Christ’s Mission by shaping effective and faithful ordained and lay leaders and understanding among communities of faith.”

The Word of God explains: For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect (Matthew 24:24). It further teaches that this whole world has been deceived (Revelation 12:9).

Our Ministry explains how and by whom this whole world has been deceived (Rev. 12:9) and how through religious and man-made doctrines (Matthew 15:9), mankind serves after an image of a false god and a false Christ (2 Cor. 11:13-15). Furthermore, we explain what mankind must do to be reunited with the only true and living God. You can learn more about he work of our Ministry by reviewing our website www.aworlddeceived.ca

We launched our website in 2005 to compliment our book 'A World Deceived'. It has been the number one Listing on Google out of millions of results along with a number of our articles. Every month the website is visited by people from approximately 160 countries. We have ministered to the people of this world for more than thirty four years and there are those that will attest that our message of Repentance is indeed according to the Spirit of truth (John 14:17).

Since your school is associated with St. Mary’s University, we ask you to arrange for a Panel Discussion/Presentation at the University and would like to make the following suggestions should you wish to proceed.

  • Moderator: Steve Murphy or Bruce Frisko from CTV/Bell Media (local TV Station).
  • Panel: 3 members of the AST and myself. Allow 10 minutes for each member to explain The Mystery of God.
  • Q & A: Allow the audience to direct questions at the members of the Panel. Suggest a time limit of two minutes to answer the questions and allow 1 minute by other members of the panel to respond to the answers. Preferably ever answer and rebuttal should be accompanied with confirmation of The Word of God as it is according to the Spirit of truth (John 14:17). I would like to suggest that we do not place a time limit on the number of questions and continue for as long as there are questions.
  • Allow us to hand out complimentary copies of the Book ‘A World Deceived’ to all those in attendance (no limit).
  • In order for people to become familiar with our participation, we suggest a number of advertisements in The Chronicle Herald and The Star Metro Halifax detailing the Times and Location of the Panel Discussion, to be referred to as ‘The Word of God and The Mystery of God Explained’, and make people aware of our website www.aworlddeceived.ca in order for them to be able to compile a list of questions.

If you would like to meet to discuss the above before you proceed we look forward to hearing from you.

Please note that this communication along with any follow-up dialogue will be added to the article ‘Atlantic School of Theology – Halifax, Nova Scotia’ listed on our website - http://www.aworlddeceived.ca/articles/atlantic-school-of-theology-halifax-nova-scotia

Subject: Panel Dicussion - The Word and The Mystery of God Explained

Neale,

Further to our proposal to conduct a Panel Discussion to allow your associates and members of the Media and the Community to learn about The Word and The Mystery of God according to the Spirit of truth (John 14:17), we were not surprised that you did not respond, as you prefer darkness over light, and that is your condemnation (John 3:19).

As a member of the ‘natural’ body you are unable to understand the Word of God as it is spiritually discerned (1 Cor. 2:14) and the Spirit of truth cannot be received by this world (John 14:17).

The Atlantic School of Theology is the foundation of all deceptions where they teach people the ways of an image of a false god and a false Christ (Matthew 24:24; 2 Cor. 11:13-15; Rev. 12:9). Furthermore, the believers are not of this world, even as Christ was not of this world (John 7:7; 8:23; 15:19; 17:9,14,16; 18:36; Romans 12:2; 1 Cor. 2:12; 3:19; Gal. 1:4; Eph. 2:2; 1 Peter 1:12,14,20; 1 John 2:15; 4:5).

The Mystery of God and Christ cannot be taught by man(kind) in a church, school or university. It is only by revelation that God and Christ can be made known (Daniel 12:4,9; Amos 3:7; Matthew 16:17; Luke 2:26; Romans 16:25; 1 Cor. 2:10; Gal. 1:12,16; Eph. 3:3,5; Rev. 1:1).

Please do remember: There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn't true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true (Proverbs 1:7; 10:8,21; 12:15; 13:20; 14:9; 16:22; 18:2; 20:3; 29:11; 1 Cor. 1:20; 2:14; 15:36).

The Word of God is God (John 1:1) and the scriptural references we use serve as confirmation that it is not us that speak, but the Spirit of our Father that speaketh in us (2 Samuel 23:2; Matthew 10:20; Acts 4:8; 6:10).

All we can do is stand at the door and knock but it is up to every individual to open the door (Rev. 3:20). It is unfortunate that you prevented God’s message from being heard, the only message that is able to provide salvation for mankind.

Seek, and ye shall find (Matthew 7:7).

We welcome your questions.

In His Service. Andy & Dianne van den Berg – www.aworlddeceived.ca
