The Symbol 666 - The Number of a Man (Rev. 13:18)

When God came into this world over two thousand years ago in the Name of Jesus Christ, He promised the following: There is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known (Matthew 10:26).
The Word of God also teaches, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation and it further teaches that the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned (1 Cor. 2:14).
Many words used in the Word of God are symbolic in nature. For example: the first ten chapters in the Book of Genesis are symbolic in nature and most of the things mankind is not able to understand and therefore uses interpretations thereof. The Book of Revelation is no different. For example: We know that nobody is going around with the name on their forehead: 'Mystery, Babylon the Great, the Mother of Harlots and Abominations of the Earth'. It is strictly a symbolic and invisible sign, as are many other things in the Word of God, e.g. the numbers 666. The mystery concerning the name on the forehead is the sign of the cross that is made on the child’s forehead during the Catholic Baptism and other rites within the church: e.g. Ash Wednesday, Confirmation, Anointing of the Sick, Last Rites, etc. They are all after the traditions and doctrines and commandments of men (Isaiah 29:13; Matthew 15:8,9).
During the ceremony the parents or godparents are asked several questions and they answer all questions with prearranged answers. The following are three of the questions: Do you reject Satan? - And all his works? - And all his empty promises?
It is all an abomination in God's eyes, as obviously a young child has no awareness what is taking place. In fact the parents, godparents and any bystanders are also unable to understand the questions, as a result of their spiritual blindness (1 Cor. 2:14), and that it all has no meaning or fulfill a purpose, other than making the child a member of the Catholic Church - ‘The Mystery Babylon’ through which they are being deceived. It does not and cannot provide salvation and deliverance from its sinful nature.
All children are born in sin through the corruptible seed of their natural fathers and they are conditioned therein and separated from God (1 Peter 1:23). Unless they repent as they grow up, and turn from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God (Acts 26:18), they will die in their sin (Romans 6:23). Also, many things and events spoken of in the Book of Revelation have already passed. The facts surrounding 'The Symbol 666' are no different and its mystery has remained hidden by the Vatican since the meaning became public knowledge in 1620, but was written about and prophesied by the apostle John while he was imprisoned on the Island Patmos two thousand years ago.

You might be surprised to know that the knowledge of 666 being the number of the Pope is not new. It has been common knowledge since about 1620. You can always guarantee there will be opposition to all truths as the enemy will do every thing in his power to ensure that truth does not become popular or common knowledge. Please note that there are other names that also add up to 666 as you would expect but the fact that this one does in conjunction with all the other evidence is what makes the truth conclusive as all the criteria is met.
Vicarius Filii Dei is a phrase first used in the forged medieval 'Donation of Constantine' to refer to ... "The letters on the Pope's crown are these: Vicarius Filii Dei, which is a Latin for 'Vicar of the Son of God'."
The 'Donation of Constantine' (Latin: Donatio Constantini) is a forged Roman Imperial decree by which the 4th-century emperor Constantine the Great supposedly transferred authority over Rome and the Western Part of the Roman Empire to the Pope. Composed probably in the 8th century, it was used, especially in the 13th century, in support of claims of political authority by the Papacy. Since the formation of the church and throughout its history wickedness ruled and reigned exceedingly within the Roman Catholic Church.
The article 'Popes and the Princes of This World' provides more details about the formation of the early church during the Papacy of Leo I in 440 - 461 AD. It was he who first made the claim that Peter had been the first Pope, a claim that is laughable if you consider the early history of the church. Believe it or not but most members of the church still believe in this lie.
